Ribbons!

My brother in law was getting married and I was to take care of some of the decorations.  The colors were pink and gold.  I went all over to find pink and gold that would look decent together and came up with these two.

The one to the left was my first creation.  All the stores were out of the ribbons and so I had to come up with the second one to the right.  Keep in mind, I live in Hawaii and we are limited to the craft stores on my side of the island.

But they came out really great and thanks to my bowdabra (which I love now) for helping me make them so beautiful.  I decorated the gate around the pool and forgot to take a picture.  This is the best that I have for the area that we had to walk out through to the ceremony area.  I bought some netting material and draped it in between.  It flowed so beautifully in the nice Waikoloa breeze that day.

And to my surprise I had about three extra.  My husband always tell me I over prepare.  So we used them to decorate the flower girls basket.  Here is my daughter and husband with the basket.

Picture perfect!

My husbands birthday is coming up soon.  He has been working at his new job for almost a year now and he has no pictures of us in his office.  He is a computer programmer, so my workaholic husband is going to get a gift from me to add to his office.

I bought the frame from Ben Franklin and I have lots of extra paper and leftover ribbon from my sister in laws wedding that I got to decorate!  That was fun.

We were cleaning house and we had a box of these floppy discs.  I have discovered Mod Podge a while back and look for any opportunity to use it.  So I took apart the discs and pasted pictures on it.  One for each of us.  I have yet to decorate the center and mount it.  I am proud to say this is a Craft Crazy Mom original.
